About
Christian Wayne is a self-taught photographer from Gainesville, FL. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Emory University and spent many years in Atlanta, GA before relocating to Chicago, IL, where he currently lives and works as a customer research consultant. His photography practice is rooted in the natural world, exploring the patterns, textures, and sense of scale found in landscapes and environments. Increasingly, Wayne's work turns his lens toward the overlooked – subjects encountered in daily life that familiarity has rendered invisible – and the complex, evolving relationship between humans and the world around them.
He is interested in pursuing new documentary, journalistic, and artistic assignments and projects.
